a stretch of the historic Via Flaminia, particularly rich in extraordinary historical and artistic finds. The <strong>Flaminian<\/strong> consular road, commissioned by<strong> Consul Caius Flaminius<\/strong> in <strong>220 B.C.<\/strong> in this part preserves two wonderful bridges from the Augustan period, in good condition, which can still be visited today. Rising on the ancient Roman road on the outskirts of <strong>Sigillo<\/strong> is the 15th-century <strong>Church of Sant&#8217;Anna al Cimitero<\/strong>, which preserves a series of frescoes by the painter <strong>Matteo da Gualdo<\/strong>; a short distance away, we can admire even more works by the Umbrian painter in the small Romanesque-style church of <strong>Santa Maria Assunta at Villa
